Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Application Specialist with expertise in Metal Forming to join our team. As a Process Application Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving the metal forming processes in our organization. Your role will involve analyzing and troubleshooting specific manufacturing processes, designing and implementing process improvements, and ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the metal forming production line.

What will you do

  • Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of current metal forming processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement strategies.
  • Optimize metal forming tools, dies, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide technical support to production teams.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure consistent product performance.
  • Conduct regular process audits and provide recommendations for enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in metal forming.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source appropriate materials for metal forming processes.
  • Train and educate production teams on new processes, equipment, and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, improvements, and results.

What do we look for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience working with metal forming processes, such as stamping, deep drawing, roll forming, or extrusion.
  • In-depth knowledge of metal forming principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve process-related issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
